MS 152

MS 152 comprises several originally separate manuscripts, variously produced in England from the twelfth century onwards. It includes various works on grammar including Priscian’s ‘Institutiones minores’.

Oxford, St John’s College, MS 154, fol. 2r

MS 154

MS 154 was produced in England in the eleventh century. It is a broadly contemporary copy of grammatical works by Ælfric of Eynsham (d. c. 1010) and his namesake, Ælfric Bata, who would also appear to have been his pupil. Oxford, St John’s College, MS 184, fol. 9r

MS 184

MS 184 includes various texts relating to grammar and rhetoric. This manuscript was produced in England in the fifteenth century by a scribe named ‘Wylton’, perhaps connected to Oxford.
