MS 297 comprises two seventeenth-century documents reporting parliamentary proceedings, later bound together. These relate to Sir Benjamin Rudyerd (1572-1658, politician and poet) and Sir John Fenwick (ca. 1644-1697, officer and Jacobite).
MS 409 is a copy of the Articles presented at the Scottish Parliament against Archbishop Laud (1573-1645, Archbishop of Canterbury) on December 15th, 1640.
